Winnie and Walter belated 2nd birthday bash

I'm super excited to  be hosting a challenge at Winnie and Walter blog for the belated 2nd birthday bash.

Each of the design team have challenges going on so do check them out.

My challenge is "anything but a card".

I know everyone will rock this.

I have started with a tag .....I had much grander plans but I'm in the middle of moving house.

Some other examples you cloud make tags, pocket pages, art journals, gift wrapping and 3D items anything so long as its not a card. 

On my tag you also get a little sneak peak at a new item from the next release ;)

I have used the Katherine cutaways with black card and the new dies with white card. 

I wanted some bling so used my favourite turquoise glitter card with the In a word happy cutaway

I added the stamped birthday and finished with some glitter enamel dots and the black and white ribbon.

Hello.

Today i have some gift tags to share, perfect for this months tagged theme.

I have some very different styles to share along with some of my favourite techniques.

And although i have made tags i think they could all work if placed on cards to.

This tag uses the True multifaceted star dies. 

I used the solid die to cut the star from green card stock then heat embossed the word bright from The big the bold and merry in clear embossing powder.

I then added the In a word: merry die cut.

I had coloured it with distress ink, some perfect pearls and lots of glossy accents.

The tag is finished with an eyelet and some twine.

For my next tag I have used the same die set but instead of using card I have made the star with a page protector and the fuse tool.

The clear star is filled with small star confetti.

I then die cut the patterned star from black glitter card and its joined to the clear one with the eyelet and some glossy accents.

I used the same method with the merry word die cut as I love this technique and how it comes out so sparkly and shiny.

So after a traditional then masculine colour schemes I have gone with a really feminine look with lots of pink and sparkle.

I started this tag by die cutting the tag from Essentials: Noelle cutaways from pink card.

Then i stamped and heat embossed the house from our town and the snowflakes from let it snow in white and blended some distress inks over the the top. 

I really like the non traditional colours.

I actually made four of these tags.
Each of the smaller tags is joined with another piece of pink card.
I used the small open scalloped border die to cut the pattern at the bottom of each one.
They are finished with some pink ribbon and twine.

Winter woodland tag

Hello.

I have some news as you can see I'm  going to be joining Winnie and Walter for a couple of months.

 To say I'm thrilled would be an understatement lol.

So get get things started Ive joined in with this months re run challenge.

This month its Winter woodland set.

I have used the tag die from essentials Katharine cutaways.

I first cut one from water colour card and stamped the branches in distress ink spritzed with some water. 

No too much so it still had the definition but is a softer look.

Once dry i stamped the deer in archival black ink.

Then using some torn paper as a mask i used peacock feathers distress sink to make some snow drifts and the sky, which then blends into chipped sapphire.

For the other side i used my normal white card stock and stamped the wood-grain stamp in a light blue.
I then used the to and from dies from the Noelle cutaways.
I finished up with some twine and diamond stickles.

Be Merry

The theme at Casology this week is festive.

I went with a tag instead of a card for this challenge.

I have used Winnie and Walters Peppermint zone and Eat drink gingerbread man stamps.

I started by stamping the gingerbread man in black archival ink directly on to my tag and coloured his mouth and buttons. 

I then ,masked him before stamping the peppermint zone over the whole tag in silver fox ink from Avery Elle.

I added only part of the sentiment and heat embossed it in gold embossing powder from WOW.

The tag is finished with some sparkly gold twine from Lawn Fawn.

Ellen Hutson inspired tag

Hello.

I've really enjoyed the 12 tags with a feminine twist from Ellen Hutson.

And have managed to make another tag to enter.

This tag is inspired by Ellen's tag. 

I loved the colours the baubles and that's where my inspiration came from.

I did however change the colours.

I have this patterned paper from Lawn Fawn with the Bokeh effect on it which i thought would work well.

The leaves and baubles are also  Lawn Fawn from the  Ornate ornaments set.

Hello.

I'm back with another tag for Ellen Hutson's 12 tags with a feminine twist.

This time inspired but this cute yet tag from Kelly Alvarez.

Iv taken so much from this as inspiration but wanted it to look different.

I have the same patterned papers but instead created a pink distress ink background.

I heat embossed the snowflakes/balls in white then stamped the trees and clear embossed them.

I don't yet have the Yeti so instead looked through some of my critters set ....first i coloured the dragon from critters ever after in pink but it didn't look good on the tag ...total pink overload haha.

So out came this little fox...she is defo a girl :)

I made lots of dimension with the snow using sticky foam and the glitter is dazzling diamonds and now just about everything sparkles.

Twelve tags of christmas...

But i have only made one :)

This tag was inspired by this tag by Julie Ebersole for Ellen Hutson's 12 tags of christmas with a feminine twist.

I don't have any skyline dies so i instead used these little houses from Lawn Fawn.

I loved that Julie's tag was clean and simple but with lots of details still.

I changed the colours up ...when i started i was imagining  a little chalet town in the Alps lol rather that the cityscape. 

I coloured the houses with inktense pencils and water before die-cutting and the background is made with distress inks.

The men

Hello.

I couldn't not join in the challenge over at Simon says stamp and show this week.

The challenge is bring on the men.

As its dhs birthday this week i was bound to make something masculine.

And ended up with this tag.

I think this is the only really manly stamp i have lol.

Any way my 17 year old ds said it was cool so that's fine by me :0)
