CTS #149, Grateful

Hello.
I made this card to enter at Case this sketch.
Ive made cards for the last couple of challenges and not had time to enter lol so i wanted to make sure i finally did.

I pretty much followed the sketch just making the panel bigger than the square in the sketch.
I stamped the leaf from Winnie and Walters In bloom Renee's leaves in antique linen distress ink and coloured with copics.
I then masked the leaves and stamped the mini scenery multi-grain  over it in three blues so it has an ombre look.
I wanted some sparkle but not too much so i added some splashes of gold glimmer mist and then stamped the sentiment in black archival ink.
To finish i used some gold sequins.

Thanks for looking.

Bear hugs and kisses

Hello.
If you follow me on instagram you my have seen the start of this little bear yesterday.
I actually managed to colour and image and complete a card for case this sketch.

I started by stamping this little bear from Clearly besotted with antique linen distress ink.
I then attempted no line colouring with copics
I'm glad i kept at it as i think I'm getting better.
The sentiment is also from clearly besotted and i stamped once in black and the rest in antique linen.

I kept to the sketch and just finished with some glossy accents and sequins.
Thanks for looking.

True star

Hello.
I couldn't believe my luck when i saw the sketch at Case this sketch as i recently got the super fun shaker shapes star and heart dies from clearly besotted and could put it to use.

I have followed the sketch but flipped back up to portrait rather than landscape.
I have used some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and added the stripe to my panel then used the clearly besotted star die.
I added another piece of Lawn fawn paper behind the open space and added some sequins.
I wanted to add to the sentiment so used one from a new Winnie and Walter set and heat embossed in silver on some vellum and fussy cut.

Thanks for looking.

CTS #110 Hello friend

Hello.
I made this card for the sketch at case this sketch.
I love the simplicity of the sketch, but ended up doing a bit more with it lol.

I have used Winnie and Walter stamps and dies.
The flowers are from the big bold extras and are coloured with Prisma color pencils onto the coloured card.
I love how the gold die cut looks against the dark card.
Thanks for looking and i would love it if you would stop by later for my Winnie and Walter leading lady post.

CTS#108 your'e a star

Hello.
I'm joining in with the sketch at Case this sketch .
I think its a really fun sketch but have changed it up a little.

I have used the stripes and centre panel as my inspiration but instead of a rectangle i went with a circle.
I have used all Lawn fawn stamps and dies.
The stripes from Belinda's borders are stamped  in Avery Elle inks, to make the stars match the stripes i coloured the card with the same inks.
Thanks for looking.

Case this sketch #99

Hello.
I'm still on a challenge kick and this card is for  case this sketch.
And as i used lawn fawn I'm also entering in lawnscaping.

I started by using the diagonal creative screening from Winnie and Walter with black distress ink direct on to my card base.
Then i die cut part of a lawn fawn  leaf from my panel and then die cut three different leaves from glitter card.
Before adding the leaves i spritzed some gold glimmer  mist onto the white panel.
Once the leaves where in place i stamped the sentiment and added some sequins.

CTS#93 ..Thanks

Hello.
My card to day is for the Case this sketch challenge.
I had to try and remember the sketch when i was making the card  as i wasn't near a computer to check the sketch lol.
I was glad it was ok when i looked.

I started by using distress inks to stamp and watercolour the rose flower from Winnie and Walter  The Big the bold  extras set.
Once it had dried i decide i wanted to die cut it in a square but to keep the leaves in it seemed to big so i used a smaller square die and partial cut the leaves and slid the die under them so i still got the square with the leaves attached.

I stamped the sentiment from Big bold you in black archival ink directly into the card base then stamped the sequins from big bang bling in silver versa mark ink also onto the card base,
I mounted the panel with the flower onto black card an placed it onto the card where i wanted it to go and then partially stamped the sentiment so it looks like it carries on.
I then added some foam tape to the back and adhered to the card base.

Sharing the love

Hello.
Its another fun week over at the Winnie and Walter blog.
Its share the love week with simon says stamp.
I only have two stamp sets from Simon says stamp but I'm not gonna let that stop me joining in :)
This card is for the first challenge to use a rainbow colour scheme.
I used rainbow colours to stamp the happy from the big, the bold and happy onto my card panel.
Then using some of them just blending a bit around the edges.
I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Banner saying stamp set.
I cut the ends of the black card into a banner before adding to the panel.

Sunday, 30 March 2014

Hello

Hello.
My card today is for the current  CAS(E) this sketch.
Love how simple this is.
I followed the sketch  using Lawn Fawn hello sunshine stamps.

I started by using distress inks on my card base then i used the casual Fridays funky square tag die to cut out the middle of the front panel.
I placed the panel onto the card and marked the area lightly in  pencil before removing it and stamping the birds and clouds.
I stamped the birds again on another piece of card and coloured with copics.
Then cut and added to the card with sticky foam.
I also used some glimmer mists so the background has some shimmer to it.
Thanks for looking.
