Hello here is my card from the Seven hills crafts blog.

I don't know about you but sometimes I like making cards just to cheer someone up or just for no particular reason.

I wanted to build up my stash of these cards and reached for my Altenew Lacy scrolls. 

Its full of solid images that are such pretty shapes.

Although they are solid shapes I wanted some detail so I stamped the images in Altenew inks buttercream yellow and frayed leaf green before adding some detail with prisma color pencils.

You could also do this with either copics or water colours just make sure you stamp on to the correct paper/card.

I then added some gold splashes onto the panel before adding the sentiment from label love and some sequins and dots of stickles.

Rainbow succulents

Hello I have this blog post for Seven hills crafts today.

For my card today i have used Altenew's Succulents stamp set and focused on one image.

I have used the large succulent image, I stamped both onto water colour card in archival ink.

One i left un-coloured and fussy cut the other i used inktense pencils and water to colour them.

I went with a mixture of colours as i wanted a bright feel.

I placed the coloured image onto a plain white card base and the plain image onto a coloured card base. 

The colour was added using distress inks.

Mix it up

Hello.

The mix it up challenge from Ellen Hutson this time is Altenew.

I have used the Altenew dodecagram stamp set.

I heat embossed in white then water coloured. 

I masked a panel in the centre and stamped the sentiment from Essentials by Ellen Fancy thanks set.

I finished by adding some bling ...I didn't follow a pattern just lifted strips from the pack and place them on.  :)

Hello.

I made this card for this weeks Case this sketch.

I used the flower stamp from Altenew and stamped in distress ink and used the same ink and waterbrush to colour.

Once that was coloured and had dried i masked it with a post it note and then added the blue background and stamped the thankyou in the same blue ink.

Add a little dazzle and Altenew blog hop

It’s time for the  Add a Little Dazzle and Altenew Blog Hop!  We are so excited to be joining forces with this amazing company that has a beautiful line of stamps.  Join us today as both companies share some amazing inspiration using their stamps and Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets.

 I had so much fun playing with both products that i made two cards for today's hop.

I used dodecagram for this card along with outrageously orange metal sheet along with gold and brushed bronze.

For a clean and simple card a LOT of work went into this.

Its kinda hard to explain so i have included these pictures.

I stamped the image into  my front panel and then cut out with a craft knife.

I then made a sort of template with the cut out shapes.

I embossed the image with the no more shims and a tool from the basic embossing tool kit.

Once the image was finished with the embossing i added it to the card to fill the space from the original cut out. 

Because its embossed it is raised up from the card.

I then stamped some of the smaller star images randomly in  a light orange ink and the sentiment in black.

I finished with some sequins and scored some lines on the top and right side.

I used Label love stamp set for this card.

I cut some stripes of metal sheets the size of the banner stamps and added them randomly onto my card front.

I used one piece the wrong way round and stamped the banner in black archival ink.

To enhance the sentiment more i etched it with a pokey tool.

i wanted to add some more detail so used the triangle from dodecagram  again i stamped in black archival ink then with my pokey tool etched some random patterns.

Celebrate

Hello.

I am linking up this card for Runway inspired challenges #65 and CASology 107 #stripe.

I started with my yellow card stock panel and stamped the shapes from Altenew's dodegagram stamp set in white ink.

I then cut a strip of vellum and heat embossed the sentiment from Label love also from Altenew.

Once i had place that on the panel i added some white enamel dots.

I decided it need something more so i used the Basic stripes set from Clearly besotted stamps in a grey ink.

Make the day special challenge

 Hello.

Have you seen the current challenge from Make the day special ? 

It another fab colour challenge. 

And to make it even better you have the choice of three :)

                                Below i have not one but 3 samples ...i got carried away lol.

My first card took the colours from B literally and it was easy to do with these stamps from Altenew.

I simply stamped these in momento inks and finished with twine and enamel dots.

Again i have used the same colour pallet the bright colours really appealed to me.

I have used stamps from Altenew and coloured with Pro markers.

And still using the bright oranges and blues this time i have stamped the same sets from Altenew in Avery Elle inks and the heat embossed the sentiment on vellum.

A close up, the sentiments are a little tricky to heat emboss with the small font but keep with it they look really good.

And my favourite from the three colours.
