Muse #93... O christmas tree

Hello.

Cutting it fine but wanted to enter at Muse this week. 

I love Therese's  super CAS Christmas tree.

I knew that was my inspiration but didn't want to do a carbon copy.

I stamped the Christmas tree from Winnie and Walters winter woodland set but only the top part is on the card panel.

I then used distress inks to make the sky and and instead of sequins i used splatters to make snow.

I embossed one image from the scenery flurries set for a large star/moon.

I made the sentiment using the big the bold merry stamp set.

Hello.

My card is for the current muse challenge and this weeks muse is my teamie at add a little dazzle 

Vicki Dutcher.

And here is her card.

I took inspiration from the colours and the circles.

I used a die from simon says stamp and just cut once from white card then coloured the circles with distress inks before placing them back into the die cut spaces.

I the used an Avery Elle hello die and cut it twice in black before adding to my card and stamped the birthday sentiment from the mini set party animal.

 I finished with some teeny little gems.

Hello.

I'm so glad Ive had time to join in this weeks Muse challenge.

This weeks muse is Therese Calvird  

She made a stunning floral card.

I was definitely inspired by the bold colour and and the floral stamps.

I have used stamps from Winnie and Walter.

I used melon mambo card and stamped the solid flower first in white then melon mambo inks before adding the black outline.

Two flowers are directly on the panel and the front one is cut from another piece of card and raised up for some dimension.

The leaves were done the same way but using a green ink over the white.

I heat embossed the sentiment on the banner and added it also on foam then finally added some small pearls.

Where the muse card is provided by Vicki Dutcher.

Its just my type of colours :)

And the Avery elle challenge. 

I used Avery elle stamps and inks for this card with a little bit of tumbled glass distress ink.

I was inspired by Vicki's card and used a blue colour palette and stripes,

I think its suitable for a masculine card to because of the colours.

Managed to find time to join in this weeks Muse challenge 

This weeks muse is Therese Calvird . 

I really wanted to use the stencilled background as inspiration.

As i don't have a stencil like that i used some ribbon type stuff from my stash.

I used a Lawn Fawn stamp and die set and have also kept the nautical theme.

Once everything was put together i finished by added some glossy accents to the anchor.

Hello.

I'm joining in with this weeks Muse challenge.

I knew i wanted to as soon as i saw the muse card by Lyndal Higgins.

Love everything about this card.

I don't have a stencil or stamp that even slightly resemble the gorgeous trees that Lyndal used so i went a different way.

I used a die from Clearly Besotted stamps and added colour to the smaller parts before putting it back together.

So i still get the colours through the white effect,

The sentiment is also from Clearly besotted.

Its been ages since Ive joined with the challenge at Muse ...found time this week  though :)

The muse is Vicki Dutcher and her gorgeous card is below.

I have used lots of elements from this card ..the layout, the colours, the butterfly  and the chevrons.

Crystal clear

Definitely seem to have my mojo back lol.

5 cards in two days...yey!

I made this card for two challenges ...Muse and Paper smooches Sparks.

So have combined a elegant floral card form muse with Sparks anything goes.

This weeks guest muse is Cindy Brumbaugh.

I took the inspiration from the flowers and layout.

I used two paper smooches set, Crystal clear and shadows ...first time getting them inky :)

I coloured the flower and leaves stamps with pens and spritzed with water before stamping.

I really like the effect it gives and you can lots of colour in one go.

Once dried i inked the edges of the panel with distress ink added some liquid pearls to the flowers.

I made the fake washi tape from using the lid stamp and the stripy stamp from crystal clear and used the kissing technique.

Hello.

Made it in time for another Muse challenge.

This weeks card is from Laurie Willison.

I loved Laurie's card especially the news print circles and the layout.

I have kept the layout but changed it up a bit as i wanted something bright summery and cheery.

So bright blue and hot air balloons it is :)

I used Lawn Fawns Blue skies stamp set and coloured with copics.

I find my self running out of time...so i was thrilled to see that the time line has been revamped  and that the lovely Anita in France is the guest muse.

I love her card for this challenge too.

I was inspired by Anita's colour scheme.

London fog

My card isn't as blingy but i did add a few rhinestones  after stamping.

Hello.

Theres a new challenge and a new Muse on the Muse blog.

This weeks muse is Michelle Williams.

Her card is  fab take on the folk art that's all over the place right now.

Love this look and have also wanted to try it.

I love the layout of the sentiment and the way its framed by the flowers, foliage and birds.

After going through lots of stamps i figured some of my CAS-ual Friday's stamps would work well.

I used sets Amazeballs and Exclamations.

I'm here with my entry for this weeks Muse challenge.

A bit earlier than Saturday morning lol. 

I loved lots of the elements on this weeks muse Laurie willison s card.

I wanted to use brighter colours so i changed them to greens and blues.

I still used the panel with the die cut and the shaped border.

I also flipped it around,

Love that twine yet I've left it out as i don't think it suited the card.

So i hope you can see what inspired me the most :)

I used the beautiful flowers and leaves from Avery Elle stamp set Petals and stems, the sentiment is also from Avery Elle.

I also wanted to say a big congratulations to Ardyth who has joined the Muse team as DT coordinator

I used my current favourite stamp set from Avery Elle ...Bright days.

I thought they would look great instead of the circles that Ardyth used on her colourful card.

I tried to use colours that were the same but in the photo they have come out lighter...

You can hardly see the pink lol but it is there.

So i changed the colour to orange with a much better result.

This weeks guest designer is the very talented Deanna Jean. 

Every week her cards are a joy to see with very crisp clean stamping and just fabulous designs.

Her Muse card (below) is another stunner, I was inspired by just about everything. :)

Plenty of white space and a gorgeous colour way is what i went with..

I also went with flowers using Paper smooches stamps.

I used a black gel pen to for the frame around the sentiment.
