Happy mail

Hello.
I have to post something to a crafty friend and i decided to spice up and recycle an envelope to use.

The envelope was already used so i removed the stamp and then got happy with Paper smooches reflections 2 stamp set and lots of distress inks.
To cover the address that was already written on the envelope i just used a circle die cut which i will write my crafty friends address onto.
After all of the stamping i added some liquid pearls just for an extra detail and one that shouldn't be ruined by going through the postal system.

Thanks for looking.

Dazzling divas challenge #68

Hello.
Add a little dazzles Dazzling diva challenge is back up and running after some technical problems last week.
The challenge this week is to create anything with a spring theme.
Nice and easy and perfect for a pick me up from the chilly weather that lots of us still seem to have.

This weeks card used Lawn fawn products and baby blue  craft metal sheets.
I stamped the flowers and leaves from lawn fawns blissful botanical stamp set and coloured with coloursoft pencils.
I die cut a circle from the patterned piece i made and then added a baby blue die cut sentiment.

Here is last weeks card which also uses baby blue craft metal sheets along with a mason jar die cut from Paper smooches.
I used the reverse of the metal sheet to create the lid part of the jar.

Paper smooches sparks, get well

Hello.
An almost last minute entry for the paper smooches sparks picture perfect challenge.
I have used Paper smooches stamps and dies with distress inks to create a water colour effect.

I had to go with these flowers from pretty momma set, as they are perfect for the inspiration picture.
I stamped them with distress inks and using a water brush puled the colour from the stamped image.
In some places i added some extra ink that i had on a acrylic blog
I added the get well word die in gold card as my sentiment.
Thanks for looking.

Tag you're it #15

Hello.
Quick post this morning so i can join in at the current tag you're it challenge.
The awesome  Donna Mikasa is providing this weeks inspiration.

I have used paper smooches stamps with distress inks to make these colourful watercolour effect butterflies.
The tag is from reverse confetti.
I masked the tag so that just the scallops could be coloured with black distress ink.
The die cut sentiment is from paper smooches.
Thanks for looking.

Dazzling divas #62

For my Winnie and Walter post please scroll down or click here.
Thanks x

Hello.
Dazzling divas challenge #62 is a colour challenge all the design team have used dark chocolate and scarlet red craft metal sheets from Add a Little Dazzle.

For my card i have used products from Paper smooches, Lawn fawn and Winnie and Walter.
I have used the rose dies from Paper smooches to make the inlaid flower on the balsa wood tag.
The rose part is scarlet red metal and the stem is dark chocolate.
I didn't want anything to steel the show from the metal so kept the sentiment white and used clear sequins.
I think the red really pops nicely from the wood.

Dazzling Divas #59

Hello.
The Add a Little Dazzle design  team have the challenge of "Music".
Or you can take inspiration from the picture.
And you don't have to use craft metal sheets to enter.

As our theme for this weeks challenge is music i reached instantly for my paper smooches be boppin set.
Its the only musical type set i have and has some fun images such as the retro cassette tape that i have used with some diamond black craft metal sheets.
I stamped the image in versa mark and used some puffy white embossing powder before fussy cutting from the metal.
The keyboard is heat embossed in platinum just for a little extra shine.
The top panel is raised above the card base which has some musical notes stamped in grey ink.
As i felt the card needed a little pop of colour i added the stars from the same set in red and covered them with glossy accents.

Thanks friend

Hello.
I have a card over at the make the day special stamp store blog today.
I took my inspiration from the paper smooches sparks  picture perfect challenge.

Rather than my normal clean and simple look I have gone for some layers.
Love this layered look but find it really difficult to do.
I have layered up some patterned papers that i have had for ages.
Then I have used the paper smooches roses die, which holds some twine in place.
The thanks word die is cut twice in black and silver, the black underneath kind of grounds the word.
I stamped the friend stamp from sentiment sampler in black archival ink straight onto the paper.
I finished with some clear sequins from neat and tangled.

I hope your wish comes true

Hello.
Its anything goes week at Paper smooches sparks so I'm entering this card.

I used the no line colouring technique to coloured these two from Paper smooches Royal cuteness set.
Its kinda strange colouring without black lines but i like the effect when it works out lol.
I made the background with distress inks and the mini stamps from the same set.
Once the images were added on foam to the panel i finished with some teeny rhinestones.
Thanks for looking.

The background is one of the kissable's sets stamped in versamark.
Once i die cut the tag i stamped the flowers from botanicals 2.
I die cut the thanks die from some dcwv glitter card.
I finished by edging the tag with some pink ink and added a twine bow.

Shine

Hello.

I have used paper smooches chains die with silver card, I cut it twice then trimmed it down.
I was bit stuck as to how to add the sentiment in the end went with stamping on acetate and then trimmed down.
I stuck it down with glossy accents.
Then i added some randomly placed teeny flat rhinestones
Apology's for the rubbish picture there is just no light and as were on for thunder storms today it probably aint gonna get any better.
