Ellen Hutson May Pin-sights challenge

Hello.

I'm so excited to be to be participating in May's Pin-sights challenge over at Ellen Hutson. 

The pin-sights challenge is a monthly challenge based on a Pinterest inspired mood board.

One lucky winner will get  $50 to spend at Ellen Hutson.

Please be sure to use Essentials by Ellen products  and the mood board to qualify.

Here is the inspiration picture. 

There is so much to choose from ...that's why I have two cards :)

For my first card i as inspired by the use of patterned paper in the bottom right corner.

I have used paper from Lawn fawn.

I splashed some gold perfect pearls mixed with water onto the patterned paper for some extra detail.

I have die cut the wild garden dis all in white and love how it make them really pop from the paper.

To keep the look quite bright with plenty of white I used a white die cut frame.

Once everything was adhered in place I stamped the sentiment from bold blooms onto the patterned paper.

The card is finished with some gold stickles and some sequins.

My next card as mostly inspired by all of the colours of the flowers. 

I also wanted to use some of the gold and wood craft from the inspiration photo.

I water coloured my panel with Peerless water colours.

Once dry I added some splashes of gold perfect pearls mixed with water.

Then stamped my sentiment from fancy thanks in black archival ink.

I die cut the water colour panel and placed onto a white scalloped panel.

Using the Wild garden dies next, I cut from balsa wood, glitter card and gold card. 

Again i finished with some sequins.

Pin-sights at Ellen Hutson

Hello.

I'm playing along with another challenge today ....the pin-sights challenge at Ellen Hutson

The above picture is the inspiration for the challenge. 

I loved the colour of the balloons the gold banners the starry map and the white text on the dark blue.

So i have used elements of them all.

I have used Bold blossom dies and fancy thanks stamps.

I die cut the leaves from some gold cardstock and the scribble flower was white card coloured with abandoned coral distress ink.

I adhered them to my navy blue panel that i had flicked with some glimmer mist and then heat embossed the thanks sentiment in white.

My card base i coloured with a  stencil from Winnie and Walter and used the same distress ink.

Finally i added some clear sequins from pretty pink posh.

Mix it up with Ellen Hutson

Hello.

I made this card for the Mix it up challenge from Ellen Hutson.

The challenge is to mix Essentials by Ellen products with Avery Elle.

I have used Bold blossoms dies  and Bold Blooms stamps from Ellen Hutson and finished frames happy word die and brushed stamp set from Avery Elle.

I started by heat embossing the flower and leaf images i then die cut the small panel and coloured with peerless watercolours.

Next i added the happy die cut.

I stamped the oh and day and fussy cut to fit around the happy word die cut.

Once everything was in place i added some black wink of stella then glossy accents to the happy.

Ellen Hutson inspired tag

Hello.

I've really enjoyed the 12 tags with a feminine twist from Ellen Hutson.

And have managed to make another tag to enter.

This tag is inspired by Ellen's tag. 

I loved the colours the baubles and that's where my inspiration came from.

I did however change the colours.

I have this patterned paper from Lawn Fawn with the Bokeh effect on it which i thought would work well.

The leaves and baubles are also  Lawn Fawn from the  Ornate ornaments set.

Kelly Alvarez inspired 12 tags.

Hello.

I'm back with another tag for Ellen Hutson's 12 tags with a feminine twist.

This time inspired but this cute yet tag from Kelly Alvarez.

Iv taken so much from this as inspiration but wanted it to look different.

I have the same patterned papers but instead created a pink distress ink background.

I heat embossed the snowflakes/balls in white then stamped the trees and clear embossed them.

I don't yet have the Yeti so instead looked through some of my critters set ....first i coloured the dragon from critters ever after in pink but it didn't look good on the tag ...total pink overload haha.

So out came this little fox...she is defo a girl :)

I made lots of dimension with the snow using sticky foam and the glitter is dazzling diamonds and now just about everything sparkles.

Twelve tags of christmas...

But i have only made one :)

This tag was inspired by this tag by Julie Ebersole for Ellen Hutson's 12 tags of christmas with a feminine twist.

I don't have any skyline dies so i instead used these little houses from Lawn Fawn.

I loved that Julie's tag was clean and simple but with lots of details still.

I changed the colours up ...when i started i was imagining  a little chalet town in the Alps lol rather that the cityscape. 

I coloured the houses with inktense pencils and water before die-cutting and the background is made with distress inks.
