Peace on earth

Hello.

I wanted to join in a couple of challenges and luckily my card fits two :)

Firstly is Casual Fridays snowflakes,

Secondly is Fusion where i have taken the colours from the inspiration picture.

I started by die cutting a  panel from water colour card and then i set about stamping the snowflakes from Winnie and Walters merry and bright stamps set with tumbled glass distress ink it was too light so i switch it up to peacock feathers... my favourite.

 I stamped then spritzed water from a mini mister to make the colour move then dried and repeated till i was happy with how it looked.

I did also stamp some first and second generation of the snowflakes to get more variation.

Some of the snowflakes are heat embossed in a light blue sparkly embossing powder which adds some amazing sparkle.

The sentiment from the set is stamped but in masked of the peace and used the die cut instead.

The die cut is 3 layers of white card and i added some clear wink of stellar hen a generous amount of glossy accents.

While it was still wet i added perfect pearls, just a light touch but it looks amazing in real life.

Lastly i sprayed a tonne of glimmer mist over the whole thing.

Casual Fridays challenge , precious metals

Hello.

Another last minute card. 

I made this for the challenge at Casual Fridays.

The challenge is to use metallics on your projects.

I have used the Comfort and joy stamp set from Winnie and Walter.

I used the smaller of the bell images and stamped in a circle using grey ink and then used versamark and silver embossing powder. 

I the added some bells  in silver and covered in perfect pearls so its very shimmery.

The bow is from Winnie and Walter too and i used clear wink of stella and glossy accents on it.

Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's day 5

Hello.

Its the last day of the week of blog hops with Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's.

Its truly been a fun and inspiring week.

As you can see i haven't made a card for today but instead went with something different.....

..... ear-rings.

I have used the  linked dies from Casual Fridays and the silver side of add a little dazzle craft metal sheets and baby blue metal sheet.

Although a little fiddly these are very simple to make.

To start you need to die cut the links from the silver side then cut very carefully to separate the links.

you need four as they are the same both sides.

Then repeat but die cut the links from the blue metal but this time you want to keep the centres.

I then cut a small oval piece of card and using glossy accents adhered everything together.

 It should look the same both sides and the card will not be visible.

I then used small silver jump rings to attach the findings .

you could easily change these up to more elaborate designs.

***Obviously these are perfectly wear able but will not be waterproof.***

I made the tag to hold the earrings from the funky round tag from Casual Fridays.

Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's blog hop day 4

Hello.

Welcome to day 4 of this fun week of blog hops with Add a little Dazzle and Casual Friday's.

For my card today i have used Garland green and Wondrous white craft metal sheets from Add a little dazzle and Casual trees dies and Christmas carols stamps from casual Fridays.

I die cut the tree from the green metal and again in the white and also some thick cardstock.

I adhered the green metal to the card to make it pop from the card base then cut just the ends from the white tree and added them to the green to make mistletoe.

To finish i added some diamond stickles to the white metal and  a twine bow.

Dazzling divas and Casual fridays

Hello.

It's day 3 of the Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's blog hop.

Hasn't it been fun :)

Today we are combining out challenge with the hop and as always have a fabulous image that we have taken the colours from.

Using the colours from the image i have used Wondrous White , Pucker me pink pink and glimmer gold craft metal sheets for my projects.

I started by using the heart board fri dies and cut out of white and both pinks.

I die cut the arrow in gold.

I love that these hearts nest inside of each other and wanted to keep the heart whole .

I simply added the arrow through the centre before adhering the small heart into place.

I made the sentiment from Casual Fridays stamp sets, Amazeballs and casual comfort.

I decorated one of these pillow boxes also available at add a little dazzle.

Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's blog hop day 2

Hello And its day 2 of Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's week long blog hop :)

We have lots of inspiration and show just how well Add a little dazzle craft metal sheets work with the fab stamps and dies from Casual Fridays

For my card today i have used Glimmering Gold, wonderous white and brushed copper metal sheets and the four petal fri dies and the Breathe stamp set from casual fridays.

I die cut the petals from all colours and then snipped them in half  and assembled around an oval that i pencilled  onto my card. 

The sentiment is stamped in Black archival ink and to finished added some liquid pearls.

Add a little dazzle and Casual Friday's blog hop day 1

Hello.

It's time for the Add a little dazzle and Casual Fridays stamps blog hop!

We are so excited to share some exciting projects with you today using this amazing line of stamps and dies combined with Add a little dazzle craft metal sheets.

My card for today is very clean and simple in appearance but it wasn't a quick make.

I wanted to use this casual vine fri dies but wanted it too look different so although it is just adhered onto the card, because the card panel is partially die cut the vine goes over the edge.

Once i had cut the card panel i cut one and a half of the vines from Black diamond craft metal sheet from add a little dazzle.

I used glossy accents to adhere the metal to the card.

I think someone asked me last week what adhesives i used, the answer is any.

 I use glossy accents, tombow, foam tape, sticky squares, double sided tape or my scotch atg anything you have to hand. 

Just don't get any wet glues on the coloured side as it can remove the colour.

I then stamped the sentiment from Breathe stamp set in archival black.

The panel was then mounted over a stripe of patterned paper.

The cutting edge #8

Hello.

I made this card for the Cutting edge challenge.

Its quite a new challenge and this is number 8.

This weeks inspiration (below) comes from Kay Miller.

I used dies from Casual Fridays and cut them all in white then coloured with copics.

There are two large and two small on each flower.

Once they were all adhered together i simply dotted some pink liquid pearls in the centres.

The leaves are also from the same dies i just used the smaller ones and coloured with copics and then cut part.

I then placed them onto a white stitched journalling card from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped the sentiment from casual Fridays Wallflower set.
