Little tangles 62, Thankful

Hello.

 Happy Thanksgiving to all those that are celebrating today.

I made a late entry for the Little tangles challenge , "Thankful".

It was nice to have little break  from all my Christmas preparations.

I got out some patterned paper for this card.

I knew pretty much what i wanted to do once i saw the challenge so i just picked some paper that i thought would work with the balsa wood that i used to die cut the tiny triangles die from neat and tangled.

I layered the papers and die cut and added some green and white twine.

I used the everyday circles stamp set for the sentiment. 

I stamped in gold and added some gold perfect pearls to it.

Once that was i place i finished with some gold sequins.

Little tangles - Mint and gold

Hello.

Its been a while since Ive had time to join in with some of my favourite challenges so I'm happy that i got time to make this card today for neat and tangled challenge blog Little tangles.

I couldn't resist this colour scheme of mint and gold.

I started by blending some cracked pistachio distress ink onto my panel.

Then heat embossed with my favourite gold powder from wow the time warp stamp.

On a spare piece of card i heat embossed in the same gold powder the hello from everyday circles stamp set and die cut it.

Once i had added it to the card i need a bit more so used the friend sentiment from Winnie and Walter and added it over some gold glitter tape.

I then finished the card with some clear and gold sequins and gold stickles.

I made this card for my design team post over at Make the day special stamp store.

I used the sparkle and shine stamp set from  neat and tangled.

As i used distress inks for my watercolouring  i am entering at the little tangles blog where the current challenge is watercolour

Little tangles #48

Hello.

I made this card for the little tangles colour challenge.

I loved the colours straight away and so thankful they aren't Christmas colours lol.

I used the gifts for you stamp set and i wanted to use sequins to add the orange and turquoise/teal but didn't have orange so went with some rhinestones instead :)

I used my fiskars knife to cut the centre out and then i stamped the birthday cake in black archival ink before adding over the rhinestones.

little tangles #42

Hello.

I'm joining in with this weeks challenges at Little tangles. 

And Color throwdown.

I used Photo booth and everyday circles stamps from Neat and tangled.

All the inks are stampin  up.

I stamped the photo booth stamp then filled with the smaller images, then  inked the edges with a sponge dauber.

I stamped the sentiments on to card and die cut the circle and added to the card front.

Once it was all done i added glossy accents to the stars, stickles to the hats and  holographic card candy to the cameras as lens caps :)

The little touches add so much detail and texture.

Mint & peach

Hello.

There is a new challenge at the Little tangles challenge blog.

This week is a fabulous colour combo.....

I LOVE this colour combination and knew straight away what i wanted to do.

I made the background on the watercolour card using stampin up inks ....i simply wiped them on my craft mat and spritzed with water. 

A lot of water.

Then just  brushed direct onto the card.

It didn't take long to dry ...i let it dry naturally so there was  no warping.

Then used an embossing buddy before stamping the circles from party dots in versamark and heat embossed in gold.

The  when i had decided on the sentiment i did the same.

Then finished off with some mint twine :)

Mini cards

Hello.

New challenge for me today. 

Its the Neat and tangled challenge blog Little tangles. 

The challenge is to make mini cards.

I made these three card from a piece of A4 and it was just short of making four :(  lol

I have used Party dots for my cards these would be easy to make  for party invites :)

I stamped in distress inks then added glossy accents to all of the dots.

The stamped the banner and sentiment before blending with the same colours of distress inks.

They were then added to the card front with sticky foam.

I'm also linking up to Curtain call where the challenge is confetti.

I think these dots also make awesome confetti :)
