Magical unicorns

Hello, here is my card from the Seven hills crafts blog.

I have something magical to share today, in the shape of My favourite things magical unicorns.

I started my card by water colouring my die cut panel with some water colour paints. 

Once it was dry I splashed some of the gold starry colours water colours.

Next i stamped the images and coloured quite simply with copics.

They were then fussy cut and added to the water colour panel.

The sentiment was stamped directly onto the panel.

To finish I added some clear sequins.

Hello and a colour challenge

Hello.

There is a new challenge blog for my favourite things and although i missed the first challenges Ive made time this morning to join in with this weeks colour challenge.

I only have a couple of their stamp sets but luckily the peaceful wild flowers set is one. 

I thought it would work well with the colours.

I coloured the flowers with zig pens then spritzed with some water before stamping.

To get the blue i used a distress marker and drew on and loosened up with some water.

I used the hello from happy hellos and die cut the stamped panel then added 4 more die cuts into the space  before placing the original on top.

I finished with some clear sequins.

Hello.

Stamping on patterned paper is something i rarely do but it is the challenge over at CAS-ual Friday's this week.

The papers used are from Do crafts capsule collection..not a brand i normally buy but this has a really nice mix of papers. 

I kept the stamping simple and the stamps i used are peaceful wildflowers from MFT.

To finish i added some sequins...cant get enough of them lol...

I love that the sparkle shows in photos.
