world card making day ...add some gold.

WCMDblogbanner2014

Hello.
It was world card making day yesterday and as they did last year Winnie and Walter lead the way with lots of fabulous fun challenges.
The first challenge i have joined in with is from my Make the day special teamie Lydia :)

I used the  Essentials Katherine dies to cut a panel and then used the Goldie trim dies for the scallops.
Its all inlaid to keep it flat and secured from the back with double sided tape.
Its adhered to the card base which is coloured with pink distress ink and the triangle scenery  stencil also from Winnie and Walter.

Next I used the In bloom Maggies roses dies, the full die was cut from white card that i coloured with distress ink then the out line is from the gold card i used for the scallops.
The sentiment was stamped onto the  banner from the big the bold and extras dies and the sentiment stamps are from the big the bod and the happy stamp set.
To finish i added the clear sequins.
Thanks for looking.

WCMD with Winnie & Walter

WCMDblogbanner2014
Hello.
I'm having a very productive day today and getting to join  in with some crafty challenges.
I am joining in with the Winnie and Walter world card making day challenges ...have you seen them?
Tonnes of inspiration, and tonnes of prizes up for grabs :)
And you don't have to use Winnie and Walter products to join in the fun...seriously there is no excuse not to join in.
I'm also lucky enough to have some brand new products from Winnie and Walter that will be released later this month...I'm so excited and they have been so much fun to play with...you are in for a treat come release day :D

My card is for the first challenge by Lea Lawson and is inspired by the camera trend that's still going strong.
I have used one of the new creative screenings for this card ...can you see it?
Yep the background is embossed with triangles ...i will show how to do this at a later date.
I loved the look just as it was and left it white for a cas look.

I had some chevrons from scenery V for chevron  set already stamped on patterned paper so have used them along with bubble talk stamp set and to fit the camera theme i have used a wooden camera from my stash.
The sequins are pink like the small part of the sentiment , i don think my camera wanted to show that though lol.

Purrfect day

Hello.
Happy world card making day :)
I hope everyone is getting some inky time today lol.
It really is the purrfect weather for card making today as our good weather has finally ended and its been raining all day :(

So i have made  this card using Newtons antics for the WCMD challenge at Newtons Nook.
Its an anything goes challenge ...yay!
Kept it quite simple just stamped the paws to make the background on my kraft panel before adhering the kitties ...who are coloured with copics and fussy cut out.
