A card for the current challenge over at The play date cafe.

 Stamps used are from Avery Elle, "Lots of love" and" All occasion tags".

I don't think would ever have used these colours together. 

So that was a big challenge for me.

Now ive seen them together i like it :)

Lawn Fawn CHA Winter 2013 Challenge

Hello.

Have you seen the fabulous challenge over at the Lawn fawn blog?

If not go on over and have a look , you have 3 days left to enter.

I wanted to make something that stood out a little.

And there are restrictions to what stamp sets you can use and no patterned paper at all.

So this is a tough challenge.

I made these little cubes which could be a gift for a new baby.

I didn't personalise them but if make any in future i will add more details.

I was thinking of building blocks with alphabets.

Luckily the lawn fawn alphas and critters sets are perfect for this.

 and i sneaked in happy summer (for the A for ants)

Images are coloured with copics and i sponged the backgrounds and edges.

One layer Christmas card

Hello.

While catching up on some blog hopping i came across Jackie Rockwell of Rockwell designs challenge to make a one layer card.I jumped straight in and made this quick one layer card using some paper smooches stamps.

Sets used are...

Swanky snowdudes

Joyful greetings.

I stamped directly onto the kraft card with white, silver and pool party ink.

The little candy canes are coloured with copics and a white gel pen.

And as with most of my Christmas cards this year i added some diamond stickles to some of the snowflakes.

I dug out my poor neglected ippity stamps for this weeks challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

The set i used is new season new wonder.

I thought they would be perfect as they have text through them.

The fruit pieces in this set have text through them 

I coloured the stamp directly with stampin up pens.

And spritzed the card base with the same colour pen.

Hello.

I found some time this morning to join in with this weeks challenge at ...

The play date cafe.

For the background i used the lightest pink on a brayer for the nude part.

I stamped the unity itty bitty stamp, "feel the joy" in silver versa color.

The gold is the little hand drawn birds and i edged the little moon/sun.

Hello.

I seem to have had some mojo flowing today lol.

I made this for the current challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

Its a brilliant challenge this week ...I mean who doesn't love polka dots? 

I used 3 different washi tapes with dots.

And the image stamp and sentiment are from paper smooches.

The monkey is coloured with pro markers and the balloons are paper pieced.

I didn't stamp the whole stamp, instead using lawn trimmings for the strings.

I made this card for the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.

The challenge is to use some bling.

For my bling i used some shiny fabric to make the flower and some little shiny stars.

Both came in my latest quirky kit.

I used some Lawn fawn stamps for the sentiment.

I'm a little disappointed that the sparkle on the stars and flower aren't showing,

But IRL they do :0)
