Hello.

I'm taking part in Shimelle's annual class ...

"Learn something new everyday"

I have been signed up for a few years now and haven't managed to finish.

This year i have gone for something a bit smaller and simpler.

My book is made from a really old Quirky kit.

I cut all the patterned papers to 6x4 and joined them using some wood effect tape from £ land.

The embellishments are also from the same kit and i stamped  the year using stamps from lawn fawn.

Word of caution stamping on washi tape takes ages to dry.

I am still to do any entry's ...roll on Wednesday when the kids go back to school.

I cant believe I'm still keeping up with this.

The last two years i hadn't made it past the 4th lol.

So Ive got to do yesterday and I'm pretty sure i know what I'm doing for today.

Hello.

Its been ages since Ive joined in with...Whats on your workdesk Wednesday.

Today is the first day that my kids go back to school/college.

I'm gonna miss them like crazy actually but I'm gonna use my time productively.

Blog hopping every ones desks lol.

So nothing major going on on my desk today.

Still got to do 5th and 6th but I'm mostly keeping up, which is good really as the last two years i had given up by now.

So here is day one....Its not very exciting yet lol.

As you can see because the album is 6x12 im going to put more than one day on each page.

Ive already stamped the 2nd and im hoping for a photo to go underneath for today.

I think im of out for a meal tonight so looking forward to that,

Back to school.....

Well sort of.... Its the first of September and the start of Shimelles class,

"Learn something new every day"

I bought the kit this year as most of my paper stash is packed away.

That's where this album came from.

The cover is fabric and i sprayed some colour wash onto it before adding anything else.

Me being me had to add some bakers twine lol.

Everything else is from the kit.

So far today isn't going quite as planned and as for what i will learn who knows but i should be back tomorrow to share what ever it may be.
