Add a little dazzle and Neat and tangled blog hop day 3

We have another awesome day blog hopping with Add a little dazzle and Neat and tangled stamps.
Just remember to leave some love at all stops and you could be in with a chance of winning $25 from each store :)
You can start at the Neat and tangled blog, i will have the full hop list further down.

As its Wednesday we have combined our Dazzling diva challenge with the blog hop.
Our challenge this week is to use the inlaid die cutting technique.
You of course can just join in without using the technique and you do not need to use craft metal its a win win lol.

Continuing my love affair with black white and gold  i have used the tiny triangles dies from neat and tangled with Golden glimmer and black diamond craft metal sheets from Add a little dazzle.
Although there are lots of tiny pieces its not as difficult as it may look ....i have included a photo collage below showing how i do this.

My sentiment and the gold parts on the layer underneath are both from just for you stamp set from Neat and tangled.
They are both heat embossed in gold.
To finish i added some clear sequins also from neat and tangled.

Hope this helps to understand how i make this techniques easy for me to do.
Excuse the state of my cutting plates lol.
Once the die cut has been through the big shot the small ices are left on the cutting plate i then cover them with washi tape this makes it easy to pick up and then transfer to another die.
The washi doesn't leave any sticky or marks on the metal so is perfect.
Once the triangles are in the other die cut i add some double sided tape and then a piece of card to keep them in place.
As you can see i had to cut two panels so i have a spare.

Here is todays hop list.

  2. WOW!!!! Excellent colors, stunning card.

  3. The black, white and gold is such an elegant colour combo.

  4. This card definitely makes a bold statement! Great job!

  5. you can do a black with gold triangles with one set then a gold with black panels with the other set? is that right?

    1. Correct :) Or you could save the mini triangles and use in a shaker style card and the spare with the cut out triangles could still be used on card as a background, there are lots of options.

  6. I have to try this technique. I have the die but haven't tried replacing the triangles. The black and gold looks stupendous.
