Lawnscaping summer blog hop

Hello.
I was lucky enough to get a place on the Lawnscaping coffee blog hop, such a cool theme.
There are 40 fabulous ladies in the hop and prizes from sponsors such as Lawn Fawn, Ellen Hutson Newtons nook, spectrum noir, the alley way stamps, the ink road, and faber castell crafters companion
So please share some love to the participants and the sponsors :)
You have until the 28th to comment for a chance to win.

I have only this one Lawn Fawn set that has a coffee theme but i had no problem coming up wigh a summery feel to my card.
To start I repeat stamped the small coffee bean stamp in a rainbow of colours using distress inks on a stitched journalling card.
Then cut out a stitched circle from vellum and using milos abc and my misti tool i was able to make the sentiment in a circle.
I had already coloured two of the cups with derwent coloursoft pencils and cut out i finished by placing them on a circle of white card and adhered onto the middle of the vellum.

Your full line up is here if at any time you get lost just head back to the Lawnscaping blog.

Thanks for looking.

Coffee lovers summer blog hop

Hello.
This is my first coffee lovers blog hop how exciting :)
I'm looking forward to hopping and seeing what everyone has made.

I went with something different rather than a card.
I used an embroidery hoop to make this.
I only have the one coffee type set and that is the awesome lawn fawn set "Love you a latte".
My first attempt failed i just heat embossed the images in neon colours and it looked truly awful.
I am so glad i started over because I am much happier with this.

I stamped the images and coloured with derwent coloursoft pencils.
Once everything was coloured i die cut the "a latte".
Does that make sense? Smile a latte?
I then added another layer under the letters and placed them on top so that they are raised.
The letters were then covered in some clear wink of stella and a thick layer of glossy accents.

I finished with some clear sequins from pretty pink posh.
I love the bright sunny colours and cant wait to find somewhere to hang it.
Thanks for looking.
