Wish big

Hello.
If you follow trends you will probably have seen that gold is everywhere.
So its no surprise that its the focus of this weeks trend watch challenge form Paper smooches sparks
The picture below is this weeks inspiration.

I used the Whirligigs stamp set and heat embossed all the images using gold su embossing powder and the pink and blue neon is from Wow!
The sentiment is from birthday sampler.
It was hard to get a great picture but the colours really pop so well in real life i just love how the neon and gold work together.

The bottom of my heart

Hello.
My card today is for the Paper smooches sparks challenge.
This week is picture perfect so we have as always a great picture to inspire us.
I love the bright colours of the tags so have used similar colour for my card.

I used the stamp set I heart art and the paint palette die..
No prize or anything but have a guess how many of the dies i had to cut out?
7 and a half lol.
The half was a partial die cut under the main one...not sure if that makes sense, I cant think of any way to explain it at the moment.
Thanks for looking.

I used the unity itty bitty stamp called Feel the joy and the sentiment is from the right words store kit.
The stamp is coloured with zig pens and highlights added with a white gel pen.

For my card i used die-namics bows in the colours .
I used SU patterned papers and card.
The only stamping is for the sentiment, I used Lawn Fawns Happy everything.
The bows are finished with a black pearl each.
Thanks for looking.

Ah-mazing

Hello.
Theres a new challenge and a new Muse on the Muse blog.
This weeks muse is Michelle Williams.
Her card is  fab take on the folk art that's all over the place right now.
Love this look and have also wanted to try it.

I love the layout of the sentiment and the way its framed by the flowers, foliage and birds.
After going through lots of stamps i figured some of my CAS-ual Friday's stamps would work well.
I used sets Amazeballs and Exclamations.
Thanks for looking.

Case study #142 ...Happy birthday

Hello.
I'm back again with a card i made for the challenge at the Case study blog.
The muse is again Maile Belles.
She has another beautiful card this week with a big bold bloom.
I have tried 3 times for this challenge and really wasn't happy with how my cards were turning out.
Finally third time lucky :)
I used a leafy flourish die from die-namics ....I cut a couple out so i could change the shape to better suit the card.
The flowers are from Avery Elle, the set is called Petals and stems.
I stamped them in memento angel pink and added highlights using a copic pen.
The sentiment is from another Avery Elle set called blooming banner.
Then added some SU rhinestones.
Thanks for looking.

Lawnscaping #58 ... Thanks

Hello.
The challenge from Lawnscaping is to create a clean and simple card.
I used Blissful botanicals and the matching Lawn cuts dies.
I used the dies to cut of off the edge of the card.
If you look carefully you can see its cut out and not a straight edge.
Once it was cut i stamped the leaves and coloured with copics.
The sentiment is from Many thanks.
The flowers are from the summertime charm stamp set and the matching dies.
The flower centres were finished with some liquid pearls
Thanks for looking.
