Dazzling Divas #73

All good things must eventually come to an end and after much consideration Monica Weaver from Add a Little Dazzle has decided to close the Dazzling Diva Challenge. The blog and boutique will continue being open offering unique creations and Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets. I invite you to continue following the Add a Little Dazzle blog.

Although our final challenge is the cute spring inspired image ive gone a little off from that and just used the the yellow and white colours.
My card uses Essentials by Ellen stamps and dies.
To start i inked up the card base with orange and yellow distress inks.
I die cut a the images with white card three times,
Then adhered the images and again blended them with the same inks.
The large image is stacked and the fourth top layer is wondrous white craft metal sheets.
The sentiment is stamped with black archival ink and is for Monica and all of the ladies on the design team.
To add a little more dazzle i finished with the sequins and tiny flat gems.

Wondrous White Metal Sheet

I do hope you have enjoyed the challenges and will help us go out on a high and join in this final challenge.

Its been an absolute blast being with the girls on the team and making for the challenges each week.
I would like to say thanks to Monica for all of her hard work behind the scenes organising blog hops and us despite a very difficult time.
Thanks for looking.

Dazzling Divas #72

Hello.
This weeks Dazzling Divas challenge is all about our mums.
We also have this beautiful inspiration picture.

I have used stamped and dies from Clearly besotted for my card.
I love the scripty "mother" die cut and used it with the purple craft metal sheets from Add a little dazzle.
I have kept very clean and simple and let the sentiment do the talking.

Dazzling Divas #71

Hello.
We have a beautiful inspiration photo for this weeks Dazzling Divas challenge at Add a little dazzle.
Take inspiration and just have fun. remember you do  not have to use add a little dazzle craft metal sheets to join in or to be eligible for prizes ... so win win :)

I hope you can see where i took my inspiration from.
I used almost all elements of the picture other than the peaches as i do not have a peach stamp.
I did however use the colours.
I started by making my background panel using Winnie and Walter dies and scenery stripes stamps with distress inks and a water brush.
I wanted to get the look of the wooden box.
I then heat embossed and water coloured the flowers with peerless watercolours and assembled on my panel.
The golden glimmer die cut sentiment finished the card perfectly.

Dazzling Divas challenge

Hello.
Its mood board week for the Add a little dazzle Dazzling divas challenge.
Just take inspiration for any of the images and have fun.

As you can see i was inspired by the images of the crayons and rather than go for a card i made this gift that is easy to do if your making up party bags.

I used the Avery Elle treat topper with some scarlet red craft metal sheets from add a little dazzle.
I die cut from card and stamped onto it then i used the die with the metal and only placed a small stripe of metal under the die before cutting then adhered the metal to the  card.

You could easily change the crayons for sweets of even include some stamped images to colour in.

Light it up blue for autism awareness blog hop

Even if you follow my blog you probably wouldn't know that two of my boys have autism.
I don't want to go too much into our personal life other than to say at times things have been pretty tough but i wouldn't have it any other way.
What i would have any other way is some peoples reaction to autism.
That's why this blog hop is a great idea.
I hope people that don't know about autism take the time to look it up.
There are tonnes of fabulous sponsors offering prizes  for the blog hop you can get all the details of sponsors and see the link up here.
Want a chance to win all you have to do is comment on participating blogs and winners will be chosen randomly announce on the 6th April.

Now for my card.
I have used this fabulously cute Ellie from Avery Elle.
I made the blue watercolour back ground using Kuretake gansai tambi water colours.
Ellie was stamped in black distress inks and coloured with the same ink and a water brush.
The stars are Add  little dazzle craft metal sheets with an Avery Elle die.
I deliberately chose the sentiment because i think even if our kids or ourselves don't always think it you got this even when things are tough you will always get through.
I'm entering this at the aeiheartu challenge which is watercolours.

Challenge 23

Don't forget to check out the  very kind sponsors :)

Dazzling divas challenge #68

Hello.
Add a little dazzles Dazzling diva challenge is back up and running after some technical problems last week.
The challenge this week is to create anything with a spring theme.
Nice and easy and perfect for a pick me up from the chilly weather that lots of us still seem to have.

This weeks card used Lawn fawn products and baby blue  craft metal sheets.
I stamped the flowers and leaves from lawn fawns blissful botanical stamp set and coloured with coloursoft pencils.
I die cut a circle from the patterned piece i made and then added a baby blue die cut sentiment.

Here is last weeks card which also uses baby blue craft metal sheets along with a mason jar die cut from Paper smooches.
I used the reverse of the metal sheet to create the lid part of the jar.

Dazzling Divas

Hello.
Its a fun mood board challenge for this weeks Dazzling Divas.
You can use any of the images for inspiration and you don't have to use Add a Little Dazzle craft metal sheets to enter.
I took my inspiration from the top left picture isn't that a fun image of the kid splashing in puddles?

I die cut the umbrella from Black diamond metal sheets the  used the co-ordinating stamp to stamp on to green garland, pucker me pink and perfect peacock metal.
I fussy cut each part  and then adhered to the the black die cut.
I  used some distress ink to colour the bottom of my card base and added some drops of glossy accents above the umbrella to look like rain.

Dazzling Divas #64

Hello.
Dazzling divas challenge #64 is all about texture.
The design team have used lots of different ways to get texture onto the Add a Little Dazzle craft metal sheets.

I have used Perfect Peacock craft metal sheets from add a little dazzle.
And to get the texture on my panel i have used the no more shims along with the Duo:bubble talk creative screening from Winnie and Walter.
After the panel was embossed with the speech bubbles i used some stazon cleaner and a cotton bud/Q-tip?  to remove the colour from the metal just on the raised sections.
I then added the die cut sentiment over some thread and finished with some clear sequins.
