Hello.

Im joining in with this weeks Play date cafe challenge.

Its a great inspiration photo and really unusual colour combination.

I used Avery Elle stamps, dylusions spray inks to add some splatters.

The colours this week are Burgundy, terra cotta and Icy blue.

I have one card for two challenges today :)

I saw the challenge at Casology this week was Hexagons. 

Now this probably isn't obvious from my blog but i love hexagons .

I buy anything i can that has them yet hardly use them in my crafting.

I new i was going to use hexagons and what i wanted to do but couldn't decide on colours so i went with the colours from this weeks Play date cafe challenge.

The colours are Steal blue, Peach and Apricot.

I used a stampin up embossing folder, die-namics hexagon staxs and the hexagon stamp is from the paper smooches set geo basics.

I coloured some clear gems the same colours with copics and added them to the sentiment.

Black , white and a splash of pink

Hello.

I'm here with a card i made for this weeks challenges at the Play date cafe and Paper smooches sparks.

I think everyone loves a colour splash and that's what this weeks colour story is.

Black white and a splash of magenta.

I use paper smooches stamp sets Geographic and reflection with its co ordinating dies.

The polka dots i stamped using archival ink in black, the splash of pink comes from the flowers which were stamped in versa colour "opera pink" ink.

Hello.

I made this card for this challenge at the the play date cafe.

The colours are very soft and subtle.

I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and machine stitched through them.

The ribbon is  a lot lighter than it seems in the picture.

I used a sentiment from Avery Elle  with some pearls underneath to finish.

I made this card for the this weeks Play date cafe challenge.

I thought the colours were perfect for a masculine card.

Kept it very clean and simple the star and sentiment are from paper smooches "My guy" stamp set.

Both are embossed.

I added a little twine and some splodges from an old stamp.

I couldn't resist the bright summery colours at the Play date cafe.

Stamps used for this card are all from Paper smooches.

The patterned paper is echo park.

Once i put the card together i added liquid pearls to the sentiment panel and glossy accent to the dotty part of the flower.

I don't think would ever have used these colours together. 

So that was a big challenge for me.

And coloured the lanterns in with copics.

I found some time this morning to join in with this weeks challenge at ...

The play date cafe.

For the background i used the lightest pink on a brayer for the nude part.

I stamped the unity itty bitty stamp, "feel the joy" in silver versa color.

The gold is the little hand drawn birds and i edged the little moon/sun.

Something  a little different from me today for the challenge at The play date cafe. 

I really couldn't pull these colours together using paper/ink, soooo...

I got the yarn out :0)

I made this crochet flower square to be the centre piece for a cushion I'm going to make for my daughter.

Now i need to make some smaller squares to go around this one.

I made this card for the Play date cafe challenge .

The colours this week are some that I wouldn't put together myself  ...

But seeing them they do work so well.

I used blue grid paper from pink paislee

then the grey and green are both Echo park.

I stamped on to the paper using black momento.

Ive made a tag for my entry to this weeks play date cafe challenge.

The colours this week are

Red Blue and grey.

I have used some of my new {Ippity} stamps.

Friends + flowers=priceless

My true joy.

Which you can get here in the UK.

The card is all stampin up.

I embossed the sentiment and flowers on the same card.

Finish with a brad and some seem binding.

I'm entering this card in to two challenges.

I had planned to make separate cards but as it fits both,

The play date cafe Colour challenge this week,

And the All things Unity challenge of using a never inked up stamp.

I knew straight away when i saw the play date cafe colours this week that i wanted to use these papers from MME.

I have combined them with a unused Unity stamp.
