Hello.
This week Add a little dazzle has another fun collaboration ....with Stampendous.
You will have a whole week to be inspired by both design teams and you are in or a treat :)
For my projects this week i have used the Snowman woodland set from Stampendous.
The snowman in this set is a giant lol.
I stamped him in black archival ink onto wondrous white metal sheets and heat set before fussy cutting him out.
I coloured the hat and scarf and added some shading using faber-castell Pitt big brush pens.
They are India ink and work really well on the metal sheets without removing any colour.
I stamped the trees on white card and coloured with copics then added some of the spoonful of snow its like sparkly Flakes and embossing powder in one and well its like sparkly snow lol.

Beautiful card, I love the heat embossing on metal sheets, the result is stunning. How hard is it to fussy cut the metal?

Hi Sue the metal is very easy to fussy cut more stable than paper or card but the same as if your cutting thin bits of card it can curl slightly but the metal goes back to flat once finished.
DeleteDarling card. Great idea to make the snowman out of the metal.
ReplyDeletethanks for the tip on the type of ink to use so you don't have to worry about it getting smudged.
Your welcome just remember to let it dry thoroughly or a quick blast with the heat gun sets it :)
