Hello and I'm here again for woyww. I missed last week as dh has bought a new table....he thought it would be better for me little did he know that a bigger table means more
mess stash lol. I haven't even sorted stuff out from moving it to the new big table but wanted to get on with some stuff. Dh has touted my card making at work and i had to have golf themed cards ready for Monday.... he sold two card for a fiver, the surprise being they were willing to pay ten pounds for two cards. They weren't worth ten pounds but I'm more than happy with five.
Don't forget to pop over to
Julia's blog to see more tables desks and workspaces :0)
Thanks for coming by.

Well done you on becoming a proffessional card maker ... and if they offer 10 pounds again ... just take it ... they obviously thought they were worth it ... a new table sounds like heaven ... the trick is to actually get rid of the old one ... a concept I always struggle with :0)

Hi there, happy WOYWW! Look at those tidy clean stamps! I need to take a lesson from you...
ReplyDeleteI've never used that memento ink...I'm not sure I've seen it at Michael's but I'm seeing it on a lot of desks. I may mosey over there today and try that stuff out. :)

Lovely creative clutter. How sweet of your hubby to buy you a new bigger table - I can so relate to the "more space, more stash" outlook [insert evil grin here]
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on selling your cards, wished my work colleagues appreciated the value! I find if the stamps are in front of me I am inspired to look and use them
ReplyDeletecongratulations on your card sales. Your bigger desk looks very interesting with lots of lovely things on it.
ReplyDeleteTracey
I am sure your lovely cards were worth every penny - what a brill sales person you have there!!
ReplyDeleteWell done on the card sales Kate, don't under estimate yourself though, i'm sure your cards were worth every penny, just remember you can't get a shop bought mass produced one for much less than a fiver these days so i'm told.
ReplyDeleteI could do with a bigger table too! but there isn't enough room, but I do have a bigger table, in the living room! Have a good WOYWW
ReplyDelete(Lyn)
what a lovely work area you have - congrats on selling your cards - thanks for sharing - love Liz
ReplyDeletecongrats on the new table and for selling some cards. I think we creative types never think our work is worth that much, mainly because when we see something highly priced in a shop we think to ourselves 'oh i could make it cheaper than that' lol
ReplyDeleteWell done on the cards. Love whats on your desk
ReplyDeleteAnne xx
I am sure they were worth every penny. I had a shock on hols as it was my OH birthday and didn't have time to make a card before I left and ended up paying £10 for two not very inspiring ones, now I know why I make my own! Hugs Pam x
ReplyDeleteok number 2 - kate ...oh sorry just starting at the beginning on WOYWDW list!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on selling your cards
hugs x
Lots of yummy goodness going on there! TFS! Mimi
ReplyDeleteha ha ha...love that equation. New table=more stash! Congrats on selling some cards! That's on my ever growing 'to do' list. Loving that birthday card, by the way. P.s, I have the exact same jars for my buttons! xx

ReplyDeleteHi, lovely craft area, it feels great when someone buys your cards doesn't it. I think we all forget the amount of work we put into one. Amanda

Aha, never thought of giving some cards to the hubby to sell, well done! Mine works with all men though, do they ever buy cards?!! Suppose I could do some on February 13th for him to take, ha ha x
ReplyDeleteOoh Kate well done to DH on the card sales! Be careful with the new desk...as in, try not to fill it before the other one has gone, left the house, not in the neighborhood - or you mayjust end up trying to squash both in!!
ReplyDeleteI just got lucky this time, my desk usually looks as tidy as yours! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great! My mom started her business that way. My dad would sell her stuffed toys in is office. It takes a special kind of husband who would do that! (I'm assuming dh means dear husband?) Patsy from
