Are you ready for more from the Winnie and Walter new release?
Of course you are :)
The set i have focused on for today is just stunning , quite simply I LOVE IT!
Its called Winter Woodland and I've had a lot of fun creating with this.
With so many fab images i didn't know where to start but this deer image really stood out to me.
I have stamped it in green white and pink pigment inks onto kraft card.
Although its clearly a winter set it doesn't have to be for Christmas as you can see i haven't used Christmas sentiments , and these are both part of the set.
Ive kept it fun and feminine by using the glitter card and sequins.
My second card is more traditional and used this fabulous tree stamp.
I stamped it onto watercolour card using shabby shutters distress ink then over stamped with mowed lawn just around the edges before using a water brush to blend the inks.
I added more distress inks and distress markers, it gives a much different look than a stamped image.
The background is also distress inks.
Once everything was dry i used the scenery circles creative screenings with some Prima texture paste so you get some dimension but it doesn't over power the main focal point.
And back to the deer :)
I love this little stamp and especially in non traditional colours.
I've layered up patterned papers and glitter card but the pink deer is still the star of the show.
Again i have used the circles creative screening and texture paste.
For my last card I've used the Sci fi stars creative screenings direct onto my card base with some prima texture paste.
It gives enough texture to add interest but isn't to bulky.
I then added my panel that i had stamped the mini scenery the wood onto.
To get the stamped effect i used my craft sheet and swiped my picked raspberry, salty ocean, dusty Concord and black momento inks before spritzing with glimmer mist ....because i couldn't find my mini mister lol.
I then placed the stamp onto it before stamping of onto my card....i got quite a few images from the one lot of ink on my craft sheet.
I set them all aside to dry and really love that its so sparkly in real life.
I have finished with sentiment from a tree for all seasons.
