I have the absolute pleasure to be sharing some cards with Winnie and Walter today.
Its October release time and you really are in for a treat :)
Among this release there are new products called Creative screenings.
I had so many ideas it was hard scaling this down to just 3 cards.
Well 3 for today you will be seeing lots more projects using them .
For my first card I have kept it very clean and simple but have made a statement by using craft metal sheets.
I have used the big the bold extras duo creative screenings along with a no more shims rubber matt.
I placed the flower and leaf onto the bottom cutting matt of my big shot then placed the metal colour side up then the no more shims rubber matt and the second cutting plate and put through the big shot with all tabs open.
Once the shape was nicely embossed i used a nail file to remove the pink just on the raised area and reveal the silver.
Then i made the sentiment using the big bold extras stamp set and finished with some sequins.
My second card uses the triangled creative screenings.
Triangles have been big this year in card making and with this you have so many options.
I have used distress inks to add the colour through the open part then twisted around to repeat on the ones without colour.
I then used the same colours and stamped the triangles from rectangled and triangled stamp set.
Finally finishing with a sentiment from the big the bold the happy.
And finally these are all made using the The big the bold you creative screenings.
Your best friend when using these is any kind of temporary adhesive it just helps to keep everything just where you want it :)
I placed them on to the watercolour card using the temporary adhesive and then using an ink blending tool added the distress inks.
I put the colour on quite heavily.
Then used a water brush to move the colour and make a faux watercolour.
By being careful none of the colour seeps under the word so you get a nice clean white space.
