distress love with Ombre

Hello have you seen all of the great challenges featuring distress ink on the Winnie and Walter blog?

There are five great challenges all using distress inks and i really wanted to join in.

I have gone out of sequence on these and started with day 2 Ombre.

I love Ombre effects and with distress inks its so easy to achieve. 

I used picked raspberry ink to create my colour wash.

Then once dried i stamped using Big bang confetti stamps still using the picked raspberry.

I did this a few times and stamped two or three times before adding more ink.

I stamped the Shine sentiment in versamark and heat embossed with gold onto vellum and stuck down over some loose thread with glossy accents.

Then made the second part of the sentiment using a stamps from a few sets. 

Once that was cut to the right size i coloured with a sponge dauber and added to the card with sticky foam.

I will be back with more distress cards soon :)
