play date cafe 52

This week is change 52 ..yep that means the play date cafe is celebrating is one year anniversary. The colour combo for this week is Pink, orange and yellow.

You have no idea how many cards i made before this one ...they just didn't work for me lol. In the end I decided to use my distress inks to create the backgrounds. I dabbed the ink pad on a non stick sheet and sprayed with water then place the card over the colour, Then dried it using my heat tool and repeated the process before stamping images from {Ippity} set "Simple things". The two sides were using all three colours and the center ones each colour individually.I mounted each section on white card before placing on the kraft card. The sentiments are from kaiser craft. I finished by adding a bow and glossy accents to each of the flowers and some pearls on the back piece.
As part of the play date cafe celebration there is a post everyday from the design team from Unity so check it out.
Thanks for looking.
