Tim Holtz style

Here is my entry for the Simon says stamp and show challenge to make something in the style of Tim holtz .I have made three tags. I don't have any of Tim's stamps so have improvised lol. I went to Tim's blog and watch some of his videos and my favourite was the distress inks...now i have plenty of these so i went with using them different ways, i actually made another 2 tags but think i was losing the plot a bit and they aren't very good.
Above are the fronts and then i decide to do the backs as well :0) I was going to make lots more tags and put them into a mini book but just haven't had the time this week. But i think i will do that soon.
Above are the backs, although I'm not sure the little houses are really Tim Holtz style i think i just wanted to ink up some of my new stamps :0)

And this is a paper rose that I'm so pleased with, its not perfect but I'm glad i kept at it and got a fairly decent rose. Ive used all distress inks with a mixture of stamps and grunge board and a few other bits to try and get the look.
And did you know that last weeks challenge, Wendy Vecchi style i won a prize donated but Wendy herself how exciting . Am so happy about that you wouldn't believe. All these styles don't come easy to me but I'm having a great time trying them.
Thanks for looking.
